Salt and pepper mill set in polished steel

The beautiful, minimalist mill in high-polished stainless steel adds an elegant cohesion to the table. The ceramic CrushGrind® mechanism is located at the top of the mill, and thanks to this clever design, no spices fall onto the table when the mill is put down. The placement of the grinding mechanism offers several advantages: gravity naturally guides the spices into the mill, providing a more uniform grind. At the same time, the mill fits well in the hand, providing a comfortable grip and better control. With four settings from fine to coarse, it is also easy to adjust the seasoning to different preferences. The ceramic grinding mechanism handles salt, pepper, and dried spices and ensures that the flavors are truly enhanced. The design is inspired by the nature around the small village of Dorotea. Here, the ice has created a landscape of mountains, valleys, and large open areas, which together form soft, rolling shapes that seamlessly replace each other. This transition is something often overlooked, even though it is precisely here that the adventurous and surprising part of the design lies. With its minimalist and organic shapes, the Dorotea collection combines tradition and craftsmanship with international-level design. Dorotea mills are made from recycled stainless steel. This means that the stainless steel has lived a previous life, as they say. In addition to being extremely durable, stainless steel can be melted down and transformed into new products without losing its properties and qualities.
