Carbon steel pans are excellent for all types of frying – vegetables, fish, and meat. They have similar properties to cast iron but with a lower weight. Our carbon steel pans are pre-seasoned and ready to use after the first cleaning. The wooden handle cannot withstand high oven temperatures. The inside of the pan will change color over time, which is completely normal. Rapid temperature changes can cause the bottom to become uneven. Therefore, heat the pan gradually to the desired temperature. Cooking with acidic foods breaks down the pan's natural patina layer and is not recommended.
