Satake
Carbon steel frying pan 24 cm
Item no. CA497171183
24 cm carbon steel pan from Satake with a thickness of 3 mm. Carbon steel pans are excellent for all types of frying - vegetables, fish, and meat. They can withstand oven temperatures up to 250°C and have properties similar to cast iron, but with less weight. Satake carbon steel pans are pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use after an initial wash. Before first use: Boil water in the pan for a few minutes. Clean the pan with a sponge and a small amount of dish soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly. The pan's natural non-stick function improves the more you use it. Note: The handle of these carbon steel pans gets hot; use a kitchen towel or an oven mitt for heat protection. Never leave the pan in water. Wash the pan in hot water immediately after use and dry it thoroughly by hand. The inside of the pan will change color the more you use it, which is normal. Rapid temperature changes can cause an uneven bottom. Heat the pan gradually to the desired temperature. Cooking with highly acidic foods will degrade the natural patina layer and is not recommended (e.g., vinegar and tomato). Never pour cold water into a hot pan. Never use the induction stove's boost function; this function is only for boiling water and similar. The carbon steel pan must not be washed in a dishwasher.
