Smash Burgers tip - Heat a cast iron griddle or frying plate and place a round unseasoned ball of coarsely ground chuck. Press firmly with the Satake Smash Burger Press. Apply significant pressure and flatten the burgers completely. Season generously with salt and pepper and let the underside "sear" for a really nice crust. Scrape off with a good thin spatula and flip once. Season the other side and finish cooking. Assemble with cheese and serve immediately.
