Water resistance on watches can be tricky and misleading. The water resistance of watches is stated in meters and ATM, which stands for atmospheres. These numbers have nothing to do with how deep the watch can dive. This watch is marked 5 ATM (50m).

Analog hands have been standard on watches for over two hundred years and are just as relevant and functional today. Besides giving a timeless and stylish look, they can be very practical; if you were to get lost, you can actually navigate using the position of the hands in relation to the sun. It is also faster to get a sense of time with analog hands compared to digital displays where you are presented with a number that the brain then has to put into context.
