It is a universal truth that opposites both attract and create harmony. Hot and cold, hard and soft, black and white. One needs the other to be complete. When designer Lisa Hilland was asked to design a vase for Orrefors that was as beautiful without flowers as with them, she chose to contrast the exclusive crystal with metal. BLOOM is inspired by the organic shapes of nature, by flowers and by leaves. It looks just as good with an exclusive bouquet as with a simple sprig of ivy, but also in its own splendor with only light playing in the crystal glass.
