Good kitchen knives require a good surface. If the surface is harder than your knife, the knife will be damaged. Global's large wooden cutting boards are made of silver oak, which is a gentle material that is excellent for cutting boards. The model has a variety of smart features: a measuring scale for quick and even measuring, through-bolts to adjust the board, a non-slip cloth to prevent sliding, and oil to treat the wood. After each use • For cleaning, use a drop of dish soap and a small amount of water. • A 5% vinegar mixture can be used for light cleaning. • Scrub with coarse salt to remove stubborn stains. • Store the cutting board dry. Maintenance • As needed - oil the cutting board generously with paraffin oil and let it sit overnight, then wipe off any excess oil. • Oil any dry spots with a little paraffin oil as soon as they are discovered.
