Satake cast iron bread pan / bread oven. The cast iron bread pan will last for generations if properly maintained. The inside of the lid features ridges that allow the bread to cool and rest on the lid while being aired for a perfect crust. The cast iron pan distributes heat evenly and steadily, providing the bread with a beautiful crust and even baking. The pan is oven-safe and can be used on all types of stovetops. The lid doubles as an oblong grill pan, and the base can be used for everything from pâtés and pastries to slow-cooked stews. The bread pan is ready for use after an initial cleaning. After use, allow the pan to cool before cleaning. Wash with warm water and a dish brush; avoid detergent. Hand dry immediately after washing. Store in a dry place.
